Great Japanese Warrior Samurai Swords

We carry the most brilliant Samurai swords available today. Take for instance, the Samurai katana. Also known as the Japanese backsword or longsword, the katana was the primary weapon used after the 1400s by the Japanese military nobility (Samurai). Brothersmith-swords offers two functional katanas and five decorative katanas. The Soul of the Samurai katana Japanese swords by Ritter Steel have a 27 inch blade that is hand-forged from high carbon steel, a pommel and polished 10 inch ebony handle with brass guard and end caps and a wood scabbard. Or choose the Japanese style reverse blade katana, with the traditional hand braided diamond pattern and black leather covered scabbard.

In addition to the katana, Samurai used a similar but shorter blade called a wakizashi. We have two wakizashi models to choose from. Both are fully functional, so please be careful while handling them. They feature a hand-forged, 17 inch high quality carbon steel blade. The Golden Warrior™ model has an authentically styled handle that is hand braided with black cording, revealing an ancient metallic gold diamond-shaped pattern and a solid brass guard and end cap. The scabbard has the same hand braided black cording and diamond shaped pattern. The Soul of Samurai model has a pommel and polished ebony wood handle and scabbard.
